If you have industrial temperature sensors such as RTD’s, thermocouples, thermistors, bi-metal thermometers or liquid in-glass thermometers requiring exactness, you need a reliable temperature calibrator to guarantee accuracy. EDL is proud to announce the introduction of a new line of stirred liquid baths that are well constructed, stable, and easy to use. The Ultra Bath is packed with features that facilitate quick, accurate, and uncomplicated calibrations.
The EDL Ultra Bath line offers three models designed for high temperature work up to 550 °C. Most labs use the UBs as salt baths for calibration of thermocouples, RTDs and SPRTs. Even comparison calibrations of SPRTs can be achieved with the Ultra Bath line. All of these baths are stable to ± 0.005 °C at 400 °C. They come with a built in cart and RS-232 interface with software for remote control. These baths are compatible with salt for higher temperatures and oils for lower temperatures.
The UB-4010 has a temperature range of -40 °C to 100 °C and is ideal for thermocouples and RTDs. With a large well opening, 5.5” x 10.5”, multiple sensors can be calibrated at once. This unit is 18” deep and uses 11 gallons of fluid.
The UB-1020 has a temperature range of 100 °C to 200 °C and its 18” deep tank and 5.5”x 10.5” well opening allow for easy access. This unit uses 11 gallons of fluid and multiple sensors can be calibrated at once.
The UB-2050 reaches a maximum temperature of 550 °C and is more stable than alternative calibration devices. Designed to meet the needs of calibration laboratories dealing with unique temperature ranges (labs using silicone and salt) the UB-2050 allows labs to accurately calibrate thermometers, thermocouples, RTD’s, and SPRT’s – precisely and without the mess associated with sand.
The UB-2050 facilitates comparison calibrations of SPRTs and is stable to 30 mK at 550° C. With an 18” deep tank, and access opening of 5.5” x 10.5, this bath allows calibrations of all types of laboratory equipment. The UB-2050 comes standard with built in cart and wheels and RS-232 interface for remote control. Optional pumped system of 9 gallons for liquid in-glass thermometers is also avaiable.
